We believe that designers want to be creative and should not be limited by tools or technology. We think 3D is one of the most flexible and powerful mediums out there, and we want everyone to be able to experience that power - without having to learn any new tools.

Why are we so passionate about 3D? Well, PixelSquid is brought to you by the team behind TurboSquid, the world’s leading marketplace for 3D models. It’s been our mission for over 15 years to make 3D more accessible. With PixelSquid, we think we’ve made a significant step in that direction.

We started with fantastic looking 3D models, and we’ve used those to create design objects that can be used directly in Adobe Photoshop. Working on a design that’s missing something? Easily add one of our objects to your scene. Angle not matching up quite right? Spin your object directly in Photoshop to get it just right. We also give you layered PSDs that come with features that are possible because we source content from 3D. Forget having to mask out whole objects. Easily adjust reflection and shine. All of this happens in a workflow you already know. It requires zero 3D experience, and is incredibly fun to use.

This not-so-new team has continued to look for ways to innovate, and getting beautiful objects into Photoshop felt like a natural next step. We have been hard at work on PixelSquid for quite a while now, and we’re very excited about making 3D easier to access for everyone.
